The Studio

The barn has been converted into my studio, where I do most of my work.

The Artist

I have been painting for almost twenty years, but seriously for just shy of ten. I have studied with a number of local accomplished artists, as well as Christine LaFuente and Stanley Bielen.

It’s intellectually hard work — making the right color and putting it in its correct place. I like painting with a limited palette (6-8 colors plus white) so I am forced to mix. I also love painting plein aire and taking naps in my studio.
